Commuter Benefit Update

Following is guidance for employees that wish to return their June monthly passes for a credit.

Metra

Metra can provide a credit for your June pass to apply to a future month’s order.  If you have a recurring monthly order, the credit will automatically apply to the month after your credit is processed. 

Metra passes must be attached to the original stub and be sent US Postal Service and postmarked by 06/10/2020 to receive a full credit. Envelopes postmarked after 06/10/2020 will not receive a credit.

A tracking number is suggested and the fulfillment letter or reference number (from your email confirming your order) should be included to identify the pass. Employees should not send their passes via FedEx or UPS. **US Postal Service only **

Ventra Direct Load

Although Ventra’s policy does not allow for returns, they have made some adjustments due to the current situation. Please refer to the following link for information on the Ventra and CTA website:

Additional information regarding your commuter benefit account can be found by going to www.connectyourcare.com/cookcounty and clicking on “Manage My Commuter Benefits", where you can view COVID-19 updates and policies on your dashboard. There you can modify or opt out of your July order and beyond.
