Driving change: Join the transportation conversation
Northeastern Illinois’ transportation infrastructure is in dire need of investment. Our region’s legacy assets are reaching the end of their useful life at the same time new demands are emerging. How do we invest in and innovate our transportation system for the next century?
The solution requires more than money. We need a 21st century regional strategy. The road ahead demands reinvestment, rethinking and above all, regional cooperation.
On June 23, join regional leaders and national experts in Joliet for a future-focused transportation conversation. Experts from other regions of the country will share infrastructure success stories and discuss how they broke through the status quo. Speakers include:
- Dr. Patricia "Trish" Hendren, Executive Director of The Eastern Transportation Coalition
- Adie Tomer, Senior Fellow at the Brookings Metropolitan Policy Program.
- Heather Worthington, Principal at Urban3
