Plan of Action for Region Transit marks significant milestone
You may have seen CMAP in the news lately as the Plan of Action of Regional Transit (PART) moves toward achieving a legislative mandate. The state legislature tasked CMAP with developing recommendations that address our regional transit system's looming fiscal crisis and propose solutions that transform and strengthen the region's transit system.
PART includes specific recommendations to improve accessibility, safety, and the rider experience. These and many more recommendations are detailed in the draft plan, now available online for review. The final plan will be submitted to the state legislature by January 1, 2024.
