Our nation has been blessed with freedom and prosperity like few other nations in history. These critical qualities of our society have been repeatedly secured and paid for with the blood and bravery of our veterans and their families. Today, we find ourselves again battling the forces of evil to keep our United States of America as that shining light on the hill. Veterans young and old have proven their commitment to our country and our values. Let us not squander their sacrifices.
