Temporary closure of all endowment lands within the Kelly Canyon block south of Moody Creek in Eastern Idaho

(Ririe, Idaho) - For the safety of the public and firefighters, all endowment lands in the Kelly Canyon block south of Moody Creek are temporarily closed due to the Big Rock Fire.

The 800-acre wildfire was discovered on July 31near the Kelly Canyon Ski resort about 5 miles east of Ririe. It has moved north and will soon be burning into state endowment land in the Kelly Canyon block managed by the Idaho Department of Lands.
