Docket No. CC-2025-OGR-01-005, Application for Integration
Snake River Oil & Gas LLC (SROG) submitted an application September 29, 2025 requesting to integrate the mineral interests in the 400-acre spacing unit approved in Docket No. CC-2025-OGR-01-002. This spacing units consists of the SE ¼ of Section 15, the E ½ of the SW ¼ of Section 15, and the NE ¼ of Section 22, Township 8 North, Range 5 West, Payette County Idaho. The docket was transferred to the Office of Administrative Hearings, and the hearing has been re-scheduled for Wednesday, December 17, 2025 in Fruitland.
Operations and Production
Canyon County
Vantage Geophysical completed acquisition of their 47-mile 2D seismic program for Cascade Exploration LLC in mid-November. Additional seismic may be proposed, depending on drilling results from the Twin Peaks #1W well.
Cascade Exploration, LLC was awarded a Permit to Drill the Twin Peaks #1W, a 12,000 foot natural/geologic hydrogen test in Canyon County on November 7, 2025. The well spudded the week of November 10, 2025 and surface casing was set November 15, 2025. Intermediate casing was set November 21, 2025. Both operations were witnessed by the Department. As of December 1, 2025, the well was drilling ahead at 8,237 feet.
 On November 25, 2025, eight staff from Idaho Department of Lands and Vice Chair Jennifer Riebe from the OGCC attended a rig tour of the Twin Peaks #1W drill site. Also attending were several state representatives for southwest Idaho along with various staff members from the Governor’s office and other Idaho state agencies. Employees from Cascade’s parent company Koloma conducted the tour and were available to answer questions about the drilling operations and hydrogen exploration in Idaho.
Payette County
Snake River Oil & Gas, LLC (SROG) has completed operations to add perforations to the upper sand (UT zone) in the ML Investments #1-11 (USWN 11-075-20025). The final recompletion report will be submitted to the Department.
SROG will commence well treatment operations on the ML Investments #2-10 (USWN 11-075-20022) in early December. The well treatment is expected to take approximately three weeks.
SROG reports that the conversion of the DJS #2-14 well to a Class II injection well remains on hold pending improved gas prices.
