Robie Fire

 

August 12, 2025, 8:00 p.m. MT

 

(Robie Creek, Boise County) – The Robie Fire is estimated at 50 acres with preliminary reports of one structure involved.

 

The Boise County Sheriff’s Office has reduced the evacuation order to Level 2 “Ready” status for Robie Creek. Updates on the evacuations will be posted at www.facebook.com/boisecountysheriff.  The Idaho City Rodeo Grounds is open for livestock. 

 

There are 3 Idaho Department of Lands engines, 2 US Forest Service engines and a U.S. Forest Service crew, working with the Robie Creek Fire Department, the Thorn Creek Fire Department, the Wilderness Ranch Fire Department, the Torch contract engine, and the Patrick Alpha contract crew with the current goal of establishing a control line on the ridgetop.  Two hotshot crews and three additional engines are responding. Aerial resources on scene include air attack, a Type-1 and two Type-3 helicopters, and six single engine air tankers.  The aerial resources are utilizing Lucky Peak Reservoir, please keep clear of the area. 

 

This cause of the fire is under investigation.  All wildfires under IDL protection are investigated.
