Clover Fire - Update

INCIDENT UPDATE

July 15, 2025, 12 pm PT

(Naples, ID) The fire is now 100% contained as of the evening of July 14. Control lines established by fire crews on the Clover fire were challenged but held through yesterday’s wind event.

The Boundary County Sheriff's Office has rescinded all “Ready, Set, Go” evacuation statuses, and all evacuation zones are back to normal status as of 5 PM Monday.

Idaho Department of Lands is asking people to avoid Deep Creek Loop between Schoolhouse Road and Highland Flats Road as fire traffic is still frequent.

There are currently 55 personnel mopping up hotspots and working toward “controlled” status on the fire. The term “controlled” means a fire is extinguished while “contained” refers to having firebreaks around it that are strong enough to prevent spread. Controlled status is estimated for 8 PM this evening.

Fire crews will monitor the fire over the next several weeks to make sure nothing reignites.

· Never park over dry grass because hot exhaust systems can start a fire
