Manley Creek Road Fire – Final Update

May 29, 2025, 5:00 PM PT

Idaho Department of Lands (IDL) has made good progress on the Manley Creek Road Fire near Laclede in Bonner County. We were able to transition down to a Type 5 incident commander. All hand crews, modules and water tenders have been released. Two IDL fire engines remain on scene.

Today, firefighters walked through the entire fire on a grid pattern and extinguished hot spots.

The fire was placed into patrol status this afternoon and is considered contained and controlled.

IDL does not directly suppress structure fires. Smoke from the structure fire may be visible for several weeks.
