Fire Incident Information - Email Header

(Harvard, ID) This morning on the Prospect Fire, a firefighter received injuries beyond what fireline first aid could handle and required transportation to the local hospital for treatment. The firefighter is an employee of a contracted firefighting company and not a federal or state employee. Incident management officials are not able to comment any further as to details of the injury or status of the individual due to HIPAA privacy laws and employment contracts.
