October 29, 2021 - We are talking about log scaling today. So what is it?

From an historical perspective, log scaling probably began around two hundred years ago - about the time of the Industrial Revolution. As sawmills arrived on the scene, it became necessary to have some means of log measurement. Log scaling was born.

October 25, 2021 - From the Idaho Capital Sun: Wildfire response becomes personal for Idaho legislator whose land was burned by Bedrock Fire.

During Idaho Department of Lands budget presentations before the Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee, Idaho Rep. Caroline Nilsson Troy got a chance to thank some of the fire officials who helped protect her, her family and neighbors from the Bedrock Fire.
