Wage survey: Shaping Idaho's job market
The Idaho Department of Labor surveys employers twice a year as part of the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (OEWS) program.
The OEWS Survey collects wages and employment information from employers across Idaho. Approximately 830 occupations in industries like engineering, health care, office support and more are represented in the survey. Employer responses are kept confidential.
By participating, employers create an overview of occupational patterns and wage ranges across the state. This allows job seekers and employers to be informed when making salary related decisions.
For details, visit the OEWS Frequently Asked Questions page.

November marks Idaho Apprenticeship Month
Registered Apprenticeships are a great way for businesses to attract, retain and produce high quality workers. Businesses that invest in apprenticeships also fill important gaps in the job market.
Gov. Brad Little signed a proclamation Nov. 1 marking the month as a time to recognize the value of Idaho apprenticeships. Local communities and businesses across the state are encouraged to create their own proclamations. Search for events across Idaho celebrating apprenticeships on the Apprenticeship USA website.
