Black Cat Road Closure South of Ustick Road Begins Thursday
MERIDIAN — Beginning Thursday, July 17, Black Cat Road will close just south of Ustick Road, as part of ACHD's Ustick Road, Black Cat Road to Ten Mile Road project. The closure is expected to remain in place through the end of December 2025.
To get around the closure, commuters should use McDermott Road to the west or Ten Mile Road to the east (see detour map).
Ustick Road will remain open to east and west traffic throughout the duration of the work.
The work is part of ACHD's Ustick, Black Cat to Ten Mile project, which includes widening Ustick Road to two lanes in each direction and widening the Ustick-Black Cat intersection, among other improvements.
All work is weather dependent.
