Emergency Sewer Repair on Boise Avenue

BOISE — Starting Wednesday (April 30), Boise Avenue will be closed between Protest Road and Broadway Avenue for emergency sewer repair work. The closure is necessary for the City of Boise to fix a failing sewer line just north of Highland Street, near Vermont Avenue.

While the road will be closed to through traffic, local access will be maintained on both sides of the closure. Drivers can still use Boise Avenue up to the work zone from either direction, but will not be able to get all the way through between Protest and Broadway.

The repairs are expected to take approximately three days, with the road scheduled to reopen by the end of the day on Friday. Drivers should use alternate routes and expect delays in the area.
