Downtown Eagle Mobility Improvements Phase 2 Begins Monday
EAGLE — Phase 2 of the Downtown Eagle Mobility Improvements project is expected to begin next week.
Beginning Monday, Aikens Street in Eagle will be closed from Olde Park Place to east of 1st Street, where the street currently ends. Additionally, Olde Park Place will be closed between State Street (Old State) and Aikens Street.
Business and residential access will be maintained during the closure. To help accommodate local access, 1st Street will temporary become a two-way street from Aikens Street up to the alley. The alley will temporarily be a one-way alley for eastbound traffic only. (See detour map)
These closures and temporary access points are expected to be in place until spring of 2025.
The work is part of ACHD’s Downtown Eagle Mobility Improvements, which is expected to wrap up in winter of 2025. Residents can learn more and sign up for project updates on ACHD's website.
