ACHD Commission to consider adoption of a State Street concept

The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) will consider adopting one of the three concepts proposed for State Street, 8th Street to 14th Street on July 24, 2024 at 6 p.m.

If you would like to provide input one more time on which concept you prefer, please plan on attending the Commission meeting.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m.; however, this project is one of several agenda items and may not be the first item discussed. ACHD staff will make a brief presentation followed by an opportunity for public comment before the Commission acts.

Concepts under consideration

• Concept A - 5/4 Lanes with Sidewalks
• Concept B(1) - 3 Lanes with Shared-Use Paths
• Concept B(2) - 3 Lanes with Protected Bike Lanes

Commission Meeting

There are several ways to participate in the Commission Meeting:

• In-Person
  • Join us at 3775 Adams Street in Garden City in the Auditorium.
• Virtually
  • Participate online. The meeting will be live-streamed and members of the public who wish to watch and ask questions can do so using Zoom.
