Procession for Capt. Benjamin Moulton

ADA COUNTY — The Ada County Highway District will partner with the Idaho State Police, Idaho Transportation Department, and local law enforcement to assist with the return of fallen Marine Corps Capt. Benjamin Moulton’s body to his family in Emmett this Thursday.

A motorcade will depart from the Boise Airport around 3:30 p.m. traveling west on I-84 to Eagle Road. The procession will make its way down Eagle Road to State Street, over to Highway 16, then finally to Capt. Moulton’s hometown of Emmett.

ACHD will time traffic signals along the route and coordinate traffic control to allow the motorcade, including a hearse, police escort, and many motorcycles, to travel from Boise to Emmett without interruption.

Commuters should expect delays or consider alternative routes during the evening rush hour. Those who encounter the motorcade are asked to give the procession the right of way out of respect for Capt. Moulton and his family.
