Lake Hazel & Maple Grove Intersection Closed Starting Next Week
ADA COUNTY — Beginning next week, the intersection of Maple Grove and Lake Hazel Roads will be closed as part of ACHD’s Lake Hazel and Maple Grove Roundabout project. This project is scheduled to last through Summer 2024.
To get around the closure, commuters should use Amity Road by taking Five Mile Road to the west, or Cole Road and Desert Avenue to the east. (see detour map)
Commuters should use Seabreeze Way for access to Maple Grove south of Lake Hazel.
The purpose of the project is to improve traffic flow and increase safety for all users. The finished project will have a multi-lane roundabout at the Lake Hazel and Maple Grove intersection. The project also includes adding curb, gutter, and a detached 10-foot wide multi-use pathway, among other improvements.
