Temporary Road Closure at Linder Road and Columbia Road

MERIDIAN/ KUNA — A vehicle crash at the intersection of Linder and Columbia roads has caused significant damage to the intersection signal requiring a temporary road closure and rebuild.

At approximately 10AM, the eastbound signal received heavy impact from an automotive crash. The eastbound lane is currently closed, as crews work to clear the wreckage, remove the mast arm, and install temporary stop signs.

With damage to the foundation of the signal, the rebuild is expected to take at least a week to complete. During that time, the intersection will transition into a four-way stop. The remaining signals will flash red, in addition to the added stop signs.

ACHD reminds commuters to use caution and watch for crew members as they work on repairs.
