Five Mile Road Closure from
West K Bar T Drive to Southerland Drive

BOISE — After pausing work for Independence Day travel, Veolia will resume efforts to replace a waterline on Five Mile Road. Veolia will continue to complete the project in phases, working in small sections between Seneca Drive and Sandpiper Street.

With the initial phase of the utility project now complete, the next phase, running between W K Bar T Drive and Southerland Drive, will begin on Wednesday, July 5. The phase will include a full closure and is expected to be completed by the end of July, before the next phase begins.

The utility project began in April 2023 after being delayed to accommodate other nearby construction projects. Veolia is expected to have all phases complete by Spring 2024.

ACHD is coordinating closely with Veolia and other area construction. A planned ACHD project on Maple Grove originally planned to begin in June, has been delayed to reduce travel disruptions. The pavement rehabilitation project between Franklin Road and the I-84 overpass is now projected to begin in Spring 2024.
