The Iowa City Public Library invites community members to a public input session on Monday, September 29, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Meeting Rooms A at the Library, 123 S. Linn St. This conversation will help shape the next generation of Library services and spaces.
At this interactive session, participants will:
Learn more about the Library’s planning project
Share their experiences with the Library
Explore examples of services and spaces from other libraries
Provide feedback on trends and concepts that may guide future development
We are gathering information of the community's needs to help us create a new strategic plan. This plan will guide our priorities and determine projects to meet those needs. We are also working on a facility master plan to address the long-term care of our building and the use of its spaces. We are working with Engberg Anderson to assist with drafting this plan. This architectural firm designed our building.
