State Patrol investigating fatal accident involving Iowa City Fire Department
At 6:46 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025, the Iowa City Fire Department responded to a medical call at Legacy Senior Living, 1020 S. Scott Blvd. While leaving the scene and returning to routine service, the fire engine was involved in an accident with a pedestrian that resulted in a fatality.
