Update: Person of interest sought in robbery investigation
As part of the ongoing investigation into the Jan. 26, 2025, robbery at 204 N. Dubuque St., Iowa City Police are seeking to identify the person of interest pictured here.

At 10:24 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 26, 2025, Iowa City Police responded to Casey's at 204 N. Dubuque St. for a report of an armed robbery that had occurred approximately 15-20 minutes earlier.
Following the robbery, the suspect walked north on Dubuque Street with an unknown amount of cash. The suspect is described as a male with scruffy facial hair and wearing a blue beanie and tan coat.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact police using the information below.
