The Iowa City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in an assault investigation.
ICPD officers received a report of an assault that occurred at 6:55 p.m., Monday, Sept. 30, 2024, in the parking lot of West High School. The victim - a high school-aged female - reported being approached from behind and assaulted by a dark-skinned male wearing jeans and a dark-colored hoodie.
