Update: Iowa City Fire and Police departments respond to electrocution

At 9:53 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024, the Iowa City Fire and Police departments were dispatched to Herbert Hoover Highway and Eastbury Drive following the report of an electrocution. Units arrived on scene at 9:58 a.m. and provided medical attention to the victim.
The victim was transported to the hospital. No further information is available at this time.
