ICPD seeking public's help in unprovoked assault of sleeping unhoused man
The Iowa City Police Department is seeking the public's help identifying suspects who allegedly assaulted an unhoused person sleeping in Downtown Iowa City early Monday, July 8, 2024.
The suspects returned to the area a third time and were seen sprinting through the alley next to the Iowa City Senior Center (ICSC) at 1:20 a.m.
These suspects were traveling on foot with three other individuals. Videos of these assaults were also posted on social media platforms.
