Dance Me a Story ties together ballet performances and the literature that inspires the choreography. Participants first learn how the literature inspires the choreographer and dancers, then see costumes, head pieces, props and pointe shoes—all important elements to bring the story to life.
Join the dancers of Champagne Academy of Irish Dance to learn more about Irish culture, language, music, and dance! Enjoy a showcase of the different kinds of dances by Champagne's performers of all ages, and at the end, receive instruction in the basic steps of Irish dance and try it out yourself!
Today a special guest from Tippi Toes will offer a unique program of dance and creative movement. Tippi Toes provides children with a fun, positive and nurturing environment so they are able to experience the joys of dance, self-expression and movement. Classes are specifically designed to develop motor skills and body awareness while enhancing each child’s self-esteem.
