Iowa City Police have made an arrest in the Aug. 23, 2023, arson investigation at 1601 Aber Ave.
Ashley M. Bunting, 40, of Iowa City, faces one count of second-degree arson.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

The Iowa City Police Department is seeking the public's help with an arson investigation.
The incident occurred sometime between 1 a.m. and 4:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2023, at 1601 Aber Ave. Multiple items outside of the apartment building were intentionally set on fire.
