Don't miss the Iowa City Parks and Recreation Department's Annual Freeze Fest! Freeze Fest is a free indoor/outdoor learning event for families on Sunday, February 5, from 1-3 p.m. at The Park Lodge at Terry Trueblood Recreation Area, 579 McCollister Blvd. Activities will include the ICPL Bookmobile, games, winter hiking, survival skill building, crafts, and bird watching. Additional activities may include ice skating, snowshoeing, and ice fishing, weather permitting. All are welcome; children must be accompanied by an adult.
This event is free and no registration is required.

The Bookmobile operates rain or shine, but there are some weather events that force the Bookmobile to close. If severe weather is imminent when the Bookmobile is in service, our primary concern is the safety of people visiting the Bookmobile and our staff members.
In the event of a Severe Weather Warning, Bookmobile operations cease and all patrons must exit the vehicle.
