The Iowa City Public Library and the Iowa City Parks and Recreation are excited to present our new BookWalk, “Yoga Animals.” BookWalk is an innovative and interactive way for readers of all ages to enjoy a story and the outdoors at the same time. Our new picture book “Yoga Animals” invites kids to practice Yoga poses at each page. Roar like a lion! Arch like a kitten! Stretch like a cobra! Did you know that many yoga poses were inspired by animals? Let these creatures inspire you to stretch your bodies and relax your minds along the walk! Willow Creek Park is located at 1117 Teg Drive. Watch for a new story every few weeks throughout the summer and fall months.
