Starting January 4 the Iowa City Public Library will expand services to include technology access. Stop by the Library lobby to pick up your express holds and printing requests or to access a computer for 30 minutes. The Iowa DOT Kiosk will also be available during the Library's operational hours.

Continue to enjoy digital items from the ICPL Digital Library including eBooks, digital audio books, music, movies, and free database access.
Celebrate MLK
Discover how Dr. King's legacy is as important today as it was when he was alive. In partnership with Mount Mercy College, NAACP, Coe College, and Cedar Rapids Public Library, "We the People: Protest and Peace" will feature musicians and speakers, as well as a short service to honor Dr. King's legacy. Join us on January 18 at 7 p.m. for a chance to connect online as a larger community with his message.
Book Vending Machine
The Library windows along S. Linn Street have been transformed into a giant book vending machine. Check out hot titles from the ICPL Non-Fiction, Young Adult, Children's, and Fiction collections.
All you need to do is choose which books you would like to check out and tell the staff in the Lobby which numbers you would like to take home. Look for fresh titles every time you visit Downtown.
