Authorities Investigate Suspicious Death
On Friday, April 5, 2019, at about 6:59 AM, emergency responders were dispatched to 114 Green Mountain Drive, in Iowa City, on a report of an unresponsive female in the residence. Upon arrival, a deceased female was found inside the residence.
This matter is being treated as a suspicious death and is under investigation by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigations, Iowa City Police Department, Johnson County Attorney’s Office and Johnson County Medical Examiner’s Office. The name of the deceased is not being released pending notification of the family.
There will be no further information released at this time.
