Family Night: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
Join the adventures of four children as they wander through a dusty old wardrobe into the mystical, snow-covered land of Narnia!
C.S. Lewis’ classic novel, The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, comes to life onstage at The Old Creamery Theater as the children help Aslan the Lion try to defeat the White Witch’s curse of eternal winter.
The theater’s production will run November 24 through December 15 as part of its Theatre for Young Audiences, but we’ll get a special performance from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28, in Room A at the Library.
Mark your calendar for this event now; you won’t want to miss it!
November is Picture Book Month
November is Picture Book Month, an international literacy initiative that celebrates the print picture book in an increasingly digital age. Our staff will recognize this annual initiative by posting photos of our favorite picture books on our social media accounts. Old titles and new, we love them all!
