Help clean up the Terry Trueblood Recreation Woodland
Volunteers
are needed to help remove invasive Honeysuckle from the Terry Trueblood
Recreation Woodland from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7, 21, and 28, 2018.
The group
will meet and receive assignments shortly before noon each Sunday at The Park Lodge at Terry Trueblood Recreation Area, 579 McCollister Blvd. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian
sign a liability form at the start of the event.
Volunteers should come
prepared to get dirty: wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, and closed-toe
shoes or boots. Hats are also recommended. The City will provide tools,
gloves, and water.
Events may be cancelled due to weather, shortage of volunteers, or other
unforeseen issues. Be sure to check the Facebook page after 10 a.m. on the morning
of the event to make sure it’s still happening as scheduled.
