Holiday with the Hounds open house scheduled Dec. 12 at Iowa City Animal Care & Adoption Center
It will be a
holiday chorus of a whole different kind when the Iowa City Animal Care and
Adoption Center hosts its annual Holiday with the Hounds from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
on Saturday, Dec. 12 at the center, located at 3910 Napoleon Lane. The event
doubles as a Holiday Open House for people who are interested in adopting a
pet, and a supply drive for animals housed at the center.
Visitors are encouraged to bring gifts for shelter animals, spend time with the
pets, and enjoy some cookies and cocoa during the event. In addition to gifts, gift cards are always
welcome, as they can be used to purchase needed items. Other items on the
Animal Center's wish list include:
