Burst Your Thirst Challenge
This Live Healthy Iowa summer challenge provides Iowans an opportunity to improve their health while engaging in fun, friendly competition. Over the course of 4 weeks, teams (2-10 people) track activity minutes and water consumption through the Live Healthy Iowa website. Learn more at LiveHealthyIowa.org
Spring 2023 Tracking Portal Updates
The 2023 Spring updates to the Iowa Public Health Tracking Portal are now available! Data found on the portal can be easily queried and customized for your needs. This update includes new content and data on substance use and misuse as well as additional years of data for the air quality monitoring, climate and health, public drinking water, child care immunization audits, and birth defects measures.

Delta Dental of Iowa FIND Dental Loan Repayment Program
Delta Dental of Iowa is now accepting "intent to apply" requests from interested dentists or graduating dental students for the 2023-2024 dental education local repayment application cycle. The FIND Project provides loan repayment awards of $125,000-$200,000 for a 5 year commitment period. As part of Delta Dental's efforts to increase access to dental care throughout Iowa, awardees are required to allocate 35% of their patient visits to underserved populations, including 15% Medicaid-enrolled patients.
Application deadline is July 1st.
Community Health Worker Workforce Survey
The Iowa Chronic Care Consortium (ICCC), University of Iowa Prevention Research Center (PRC) and the Institute for Public health Practice (IPHP) invite CHW employers to participate in a Community Health Worker workforce profile and analysis. Results will inform the understanding of the CHW landscape in Iowa and highlight their value in promoting community health. The survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes of your time. Responses are anonymous and only aggregate findings will be reported.

Free LGBTQ Training
One Iowa is offering a limited number of free LGBTQ inclusivity trainings to small and medium sized businesses who haven't been trained before. Included in the training is a 2 hour policy consultation that will provide valuable insights and tools to better understand and interact with LGBTQ folks.

CIAC Fundraiser Garage & Bake Sale
The Crisis Intervention and Advocacy Center will be hosting a fundraiser garage and bake sale Thursday June 1st through Saturday June 3rd at Faith Lutheran Church in Adel.
