Enhancements and Bug Fixes

Aquia Optimize Statistics

If you'd like to find a list of all the files downloaded from your website, navigate to the Statistics tab in Aquia Optimize. On the left, select the Content tab, then the Events tab. Next, on the right side, click the Actions button. You'll see a total number of files downloaded. Click the small down arrow or small caret to the right of the total files downloaded number, and you'll see a list of all the files that have been downloaded from your website.

If you're looking to find the most downloaded external documents from your website and how many were downloaded, check the Statistics tab, Content section, Most Downloads which ranks the most downloaded external documents from your website.

If you'd like these statistics added to your Acquia Optimize report, please create a ticket in ServiceDesk Plus for Web Services > DX Website Support and ask that Event tracking be added to your Acquia Optimize account.

How To: Using FAQs

One problem with using an FAQ list on your website is duplicate content. When the same information is repeated in different formats across your website, search engines see them as competing results. This is especially common when FAQ pages are created to answer questions that could be answered directly in existing content.

Learn the pros and cons of using FAQs on your website, and how to create useful FAQs.

How To: Using Accordions

Accordions help organize content into sections that can be expanded or collapsed. Users simply click on the title to show or hide the content. Keep in mind usability issues when deciding whether or not to use Accordions.

Hidden text within Accordions is searched and indexed by search engines, but that hidden text may not rank as high as visible text. However, if someone does a search within a page that has an Accordion and the sections are all closed, the search will not find any content in that Accordion.

Learn the pros and cons of using Accordions on your website.
