With approximately 3,400 miles of state-owned fiber optic cable and leased connections with the private sector, we’re helping our authorized customers carry on their mission to deliver a range of services to the people of Iowa.
We know Data Privacy Week is over, but we want to continue to highlight this effort to empower individuals and businesses to respect privacy, safeguard data, and enable trust. The National Cybersecurity Alliance has resources and guides available to help spread awareness about online privacy.

The Cybersecurity Assistance Services Program is a no-cost service designed to strengthen the cyber resilience of U.S. State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial (SLTT) government organizations. This program is available to all MS-ISAC and EI-ISAC members, with priority given to members managing critical infrastructure in high-priority sectors, including: Elections, Healthcare, K-12, and Water and Wastewater.
Funding Year 2025, Form 471 Application Filing Window Opened January 15.
The E-Rate application filing window opened on January 15 and will close on March 26, 2025. The E-Rate section of USAC's website provides resources for new applicants or applicants continuing to participate in the program.
The 2025 Presidential Primary Sources Project (PPSP) program is in full swing, and we want to encourage Iowa K-12 schools and libraries to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity from Internet2.
