Fiber Repairs, Relocations, and Emergency Restorations
Our Outside Plant (OSP) team takes great pride in maintaining the miles of fiber that stretch across the State. From site relocations, emergency restorations, new customer construction, and internal network projects, there is always a project keeping that team busy.

Mental telehealth program launched for underserved Iowa schools
The Cedar Rapids Community School District received one-and-a-half million dollars this week from Minnesota-based insurer UnitedHealth Group.
Superintendent Tawana Grover says the money will help pay for an online telehealth portal that students can use to access mental health counseling.

TAI's Tech Brew Focuses on Election Security with the Secretary of State
Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate provided a discussion on election security and how election administration has adapted to evolving technology.

Pate highlighted how his office has proactively implemented and secured election technology by partnering with the DOM DoIT, DOT, National Guard cybersecurity teams, and federal partners. These efforts include launching online voter registration, establishing cybersecurity best practices, and conducting pre- and post-election audits.
