We're One Month Away from All Iowa Reads Virtual Author Visits!
The three authors of the 2023 All Iowa Reads titles will appear in virtual visits this June. The visits are free and open to the public; registration is required.
At each event, the author will be joined by a moderator to discuss their books, creative process, and hear questions from attendees. Attendees will have the option to submit a question ahead of time when registering, or may include a question in the chat during the event. Reading the author’s All Iowa Reads title in advance is encouraged, but not required. The events will NOT be recorded.
Library book clubs are especially encouraged to attend the visits. A PDF poster promoting the visits is available for libraries to download, print, and share with their book club members and patrons on the All Iowa Reads webpage.
The State Library is sponsoring these conversations to give all Iowans a chance to hear from the All Iowa Reads authors.

About All Iowa Reads
Established in 2003, the purpose of All Iowa Reads is to foster a sense of unity through reading. Iowans are encouraged to come together in their communities to read and talk about a single book title in the same calendar year. All Iowa Reads consists of three programs, each with one title chosen per year: adults, teens ages 12-18, and kids ages 8-12.
All Iowa Reads is made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act as administered by the State Library of Iowa.
