Webinar - Iowa's ABLE Savings Plan for People with Disabilities

Iowa's ABLE accounts are tax-free savings accounts for people with disabilities and their families. ABLE stands for Achieving a Better Life Experience.  People with disabilities and their families can save for disability-related expenses without losing their eligibility for certain assistance programs, like SSI and Medicaid. These accounts can be used for short-term savings or long-term investing, whatever best meets the needs of the account owner.

The Iowa State Treasurer’s IAble team and the Iowa DD Council are hosting a webinar to share information about IAble to help individuals with disabilities pursue financial freedom.  They will cover important facts about the plan, like Medicaid and enrollment updates, the ABLE Age Adjustment Act, and more!

Time:  Wednesday, April 5, 2023, 5:00-6:00 pm via Zoom
