IStorm 2021 - Iowa's Premiere Stormwater Conference and Exhibition

What is IStorm 2021?
IStorm 2021 Conference and Exhibition will bring together professionals from across the stormwater industry, including municipal employees, elected officials, engineers, landscape architects, floodplain managers, watershed and conservation leaders, and sediment and erosion control professionals. Conference tracks include MS4 Implementation, Green Infrastructure, Erosion and Sediment Control, and Floodplain and Watershed Management.

Can I get professional development credit?
A total of 9.0 professional development hours (PDHs) are available at IStorm 2021. An additional 2.0 hours are available if you choose to attend a bike tour! All sessions will be recorded and available for registrants to view for six months after the event has ended. Register today and save with early bird pricing!

Will this conference be held virtually or in-person?
IStorm 2021 is a virtual conference. However, to avoid further “Zoom fatigue”, we’ve spread presentations out amongst three short morning sessions. We’re also planning in-person bike tours of green infrastructure that will be conducted in a socially distant way. Ride along with friends and colleagues while learning about new, innovative stormwater practices throughout the Clive Greenbelt (central Iowa) and throughout eastern Iowa’s Creative Corridor.

EPA Introduction to Cybersecurity Virtual Workshop

The U.S. EPA is sponsoring a series of free virtual workshops on water sector cybersecurity. These workshops consist of two half-days. The first day will give water and wastewater systems current information on cyber threats and risk drivers, resources to bolster cybersecurity, and key findings from cyber vulnerability assessments of water and wastewater systems. The second day will lead participants through incident response exercises for cyber-attacks on water and wastewater systems. The overall goal is for participants to identify planning and procedural actions that enhance cybersecurity and mitigate risk in their systems.

The U.S. EPA is offering three different opportunities to participate in this workshop. Workshop participation is open to water and wastewater systems, government officials, and others involved in water sector cybersecurity. Continuing education credits have been applied for in all 50 states. Participants must attend both days in full to receive the credits.
