Iowa Administrative Code 650: Chapter 27 on Teledentistry and Chapter 29 on Sedation
The Iowa Dental Board approved two Notices of Intended Action, which are now available for review. The notices published today in the Iowa Administrative Bulletin and are available for public comment.
The amendments to Iowa Administrative Code 650—Chapter 27 establish parameters for the practice of teledentistry in Iowa. A copy of the Notice of Intended Action for the proposed amendments to chapter 27 is available here.
The amendments to Iowa Administrative Code 650—Chapter 29 rescind and replace the current chapter and update all regulations related to the use of nitrous oxide and sedation in the state of Iowa. A copy of the Notice of Intended Action for the proposed amendments to chapter 29 is available here.
Public comments for chapter 27 and chapter 29 will be accepted through May 15, 2019. Comments may be directed to Steve Garrison at Steven.Garrison@iowa.gov.
