Hello,
Please note the pending addition of two new qualifying conditions to Iowa’s medical cannabidiol program. After the effective dates below, patients with these conditions may discuss ask their doctor to certify their diagnosis for the purpose of participating in Iowa's medical cannabidiol program:

Ulcerative colitis, effective date: 2/20/19

Severe, pediatric autism with self-injurious or aggressive behaviors, effective date: 4/2/19
Additionally, vaporization is in the process of being added as approved form of product in Iowa, the effective date is 5/15/19. Vaporizable CBD products are anticipated to become available in early summer, 2019.
