Davenport Man Charged with Insurance Fraud

Des Moines - Terrence Loronzo Edwards, age 51, of Davenport, Iowa, was charged with seven counts of Insurance Fraud - Presenting False Information (Class D Felony) and one count of Ongoing Criminal Conduct (Class B Felony) following an investigation by the Iowa Insurance Division’s Fraud Bureau.

The charges against Edwards stem from an investigation that began in January 2018. It is alleged that Edwards submitted multiple fraudulent insurance claims to different insurance companies seeking payments he was not entitled to.

On October 11, 2018, a warrant was issued for Edwards’ arrest. On November 21, 2018, Edwards was arrested by the Davenport Police Department and booked into the Scott County Jail. Trial will be set at a future date.
