Iowa Environmental Protection Charge (EPC) Repealed

The 1 cent per gallon Environmental Protection Charge (EPC) on petroleum products deposited into certain, primarily underground, storage tanks was repealed as of 12/31/16. It should not be charged on transactions occurring 1/1/17 and after.

The final EPC quarterly return for the period ending 12/31/16 is due 1/31/17.
