Iowa 529 Plans Maximum Deduction Amount Announced for Tax Year 2016

College Savings Iowa/Iowa Advisor 529 Education Savings Plans maximum Iowa deduction in tax year 2016 will be $3,188 per beneficiary. The maximum deduction amount for tax year 2015 is $3,163. Each spouse may deduct up to those amounts per beneficiary on their Iowa income tax return.
