AMES, Iowa – Homewood Golf Course, a public nine-hole course located at 20th Street and Duff Avenue, will open Monday, March 30, weather permitting. Tee times can be made online at www.amesparkrec.org or by calling the Homewood Clubhouse at 515.239.5363.
“We look forward to welcoming the public to Homewood for an exceptional season ahead,” said Recreation Manager Nate Pietz. “We encourage golfers of all ages and abilities to come to Homewood.”
The Homewood Clubhouse is available year-round for private rentals. Those looking for a place to host a birthday party, baby shower, bridal shower, wedding rehearsal, business meeting, holiday party, or graduation party should contact Nate Pietz at 515.239.5363 or email at nate.pietz@cityofames.org.
The Parks and Recreation Department manages 40 parks and offers approximately 180 athletic, aquatic, instructional, and wellness programs. Indoor programs are provided year-round at the Community Center and Ames/ISU Ice Arena.
