Section of Kellogg Avenue Closed for Water System Improvements
AMES, Iowa – Kellogg Avenue from 9th Street to 11th Street and from 11th Street to 12th Street will close on Monday, May 5, weather permitting, for water system improvements.
This is anticipated to take four to six weeks. Motorists should use caution when traveling in the area and allow extra travel time.
The City of Ames has contracted with Jet Drain Services for this project, which includes potholing to verify depth of existing utilities and installation of a new water main.
