Registration for 2027 Mini Hoopster and Junior Hoopster Basketball Leagues scheduled for Oct. 28 to 30
LĪHUE – The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that registration for the 2027 Mini Hoopster and Junior Hoopster Basketball Leagues will be held October 28 to 30, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Registration is limited and will be accepted in person or by email. Completed registration forms may be emailed to Chad Koga at ckoga@kauai.gov. Both in-person and email registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Email registrations will be processed according to the date and time stamp of the email. To ensure fair processing for all participants, emails received before 9 a.m. on October 28 will be placed in the late registration category and prioritized accordingly. There is no cost to register or participate.
In person registration forms will be accepted at the following locations:
- Līhu‘e Neighborhood Center, 808-241-4465;
- Kalāheo Neighborhood Center, 808-332-9770;
- Kapa‘a Neighborhood Center, 808-822-1931; and
- Kekaha Neighborhood Center, 808-337-1671.

The Mini Hoopster League is open to boys and girls in kindergarten and first grade. The Junior Hoopster League is open to boys and girls in second and third grade.
